Romatem Ankara is part of the Romatem network and delivers outpatient rehabilitation in Ankara. The international office arranges admission, airport transfer and interpreting for patients coming from abroad.
What this centre is used for
An outpatient centre in Çankaya, open since 2022, equipped with robotic systems for neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation, upper limb robotics and hydrotherapy. It is the usual choice for patients already receiving care in Ankara's hospitals who need to continue into rehabilitation without relocating.
As the capital, Ankara has extensive tertiary hospital capacity, which makes onward referral and specialist opinion straightforward when a rehabilitation programme uncovers something needing medical attention.
Getting here
Esenboğa Airport serves Ankara with international connections and frequent domestic flights from İstanbul and other Turkish cities. Domestic connection through İstanbul is the usual route for most international arrivals.
Ankara is also connected to İstanbul by high-speed rail, which some patients and families find easier than a connecting flight.
Planning a stay
Records first, assessment second, then a written programme and cost before you commit. We do not ask patients to travel before we have said in writing what we think is achievable.
Ankara has no beds: patients from abroad stay in nearby accommodation, which we help arrange, and attend daily. Airport meeting and transfer are arranged for international patients.
