Why Romatem
Four things that shape how we work.
What actually differentiates us
Inpatient capacity with a clinical hotel option; a robotic device inventory mapped centre by centre and published openly; a physical clinic in Neuss, Germany, where European patients can be assessed before deciding on treatment abroad; and a decision guide written for the family member who is making the decision, not only for the patient.
We publish the availability matrix because families need to know which device is at which centre before they book, and because a network that is clear about what is where is easier to trust.
What is actually different, stated plainly
Eleven centres across four countries — three clinical hotels, three rehabilitation hospitals and five outpatient clinics, the first of them opened in Samsun in 2005 — with the technology inventory and daily therapy intensity that intensive neurological rehabilitation requires. Where inpatient rehabilitation is funded but rationed by capacity, the wait is spent in the period when recovery is fastest. We do not publish comparative waiting-time figures for other countries because we cannot source them reliably — ask your own system what its wait is, and compare it with the start date in your written plan.
That timing argument matters more than the cost argument.
What we will not claim
We do not publish success rates. Rehabilitation outcomes depend on the starting level, the diagnosis and the goal, and a single percentage across a mixed population is not a meaningful figure — it is a marketing number.
We also do not use AI-generated or stock images of our facilities, and we do not present patient testimonials as evidence of effectiveness. If a claim cannot be supported, it should not be made.
How to compare us with anyone else
Ask every provider the same four questions: how many hours of active therapist-led therapy per day and on how many days; what will be measured and will you receive the numbers; what happens if a medical complication arises and at whose cost; and what follow-up is arranged after discharge.
Those four answers separate providers more reliably than any brochure. Apply them to us as well.
