Romatem Move Cyprus is part of the Romatem network and delivers inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation in Gazimağusa. The international office arranges admission, airport transfer and interpreting for patients coming from abroad.
What this centre is used for
A 42-bed clinical hotel in Gazimağusa (Famagusta), open since 2025, with upper limb robotics and hydrotherapy. It combines intensive daily therapy with hotel-style accommodation in an accessibility-focused building close to the sea, and it is used both by patients from the island and by international patients travelling for a programme. Inpatient and outpatient programmes both run here.
The hydrotherapy provision and the climate make it a practical choice for orthopaedic and rheumatological programmes and for patients who need to begin exercise in water.
Getting here
Ercan Airport serves Northern Cyprus. Flights currently connect through Türkiye rather than directly from most other countries, so the usual routing is a connection through İstanbul or another Turkish airport.
This routing is worth planning around for a patient with limited mobility or endurance, and we will advise on flight timing and transfer once dates are set.
What to check before booking
Entry requirements for Northern Cyprus differ from those for the Republic of Cyprus and depend on your nationality and routing. Check your own position early, because it is the most common practical complication for patients travelling here.
Travel insurance also needs checking specifically for this destination. We will provide the documentation you need to support arrangements but the requirements themselves are yours to confirm.
What is available here and what is not
Upper limb robotics, hydrotherapy and the full daily therapy programme with accommodation. Robotic gait training is not on site.
Where your programme requires it, we will say so at assessment and recommend the centre that provides it rather than building a programme around the gap.
