Editorial policy
How our clinical content is written, reviewed and updated.
How clinical content is produced
Content is drafted by medical writers working from published guidelines and the primary evidence base, then reviewed by a physician in the relevant specialty before publication. Every clinical page carries a review date.
Where a physician has formally reviewed a page, their name appears on it. We do not attach a clinician's name to content they have not signed off.
How we handle evidence and uncertainty
Where evidence is strong we say so. Where it is weak, mixed or absent, we say that too, and several pages on this site recommend trying a better-supported treatment first rather than the one we could sell.
Where guidelines differ between countries — and they do, particularly on timing and intensity — we say which we are following and why.
Claims we do not make
We do not publish success rates. Rehabilitation outcomes depend on diagnosis, severity, starting point and goal, and a single percentage across a mixed population can be made to say almost anything by adjusting who is counted.
We do not present patient testimonials as evidence of effectiveness, and we do not use before-and-after imagery in a way that implies a typical result.
Sources and translation
Sources are cited with publisher and year, so that each reference can be traced to the original.
Content originating in Turkish is rewritten in English by a writer working from the source material rather than machine-translated, because a translated marketing sentence carries claims that would not survive being written from scratch. Arabic and Russian pages are translated from the English with AI assistance and reviewed by native-speaking clinicians before publication.
Use of AI, stated plainly
AI tools may be used in drafting, editing and translation. No clinical page is published without review by a qualified clinician, and AI output is never published unreviewed.
AI-generated imagery is not used anywhere on this site. Photographs of facilities, equipment and staff are real photographs of those facilities, that equipment and those people. This is a deliberate rule with a reason: an image that implies a room exists when it does not is a false statement about the service being sold.
Corrections
If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us. We correct it, update the review date, and where the error was material we say what changed rather than editing quietly.
