Romatem Neuss is part of the Romatem network and delivers outpatient rehabilitation in Neuss. The international office arranges admission, airport transfer and interpreting for patients coming from abroad.

Outpatient rehabilitation in Germany

The Neuss centre opened in 2024 and provides outpatient rehabilitation with upper limb robotics in two treatment rooms, alongside nutrition counselling, health coaching and supervised exercise programmes. It operates within the German healthcare system, which means a different structure from the Turkish centres: treatment is delivered as outpatient sessions rather than as an inpatient block, and the regulatory and billing framework is German.

For patients living in North Rhine-Westphalia this is the practical route to continuing rehabilitation locally, including after an intensive block elsewhere in the group.

How treatment is arranged and paid for

Whether your treatment is covered by statutory insurance, by private insurance or paid privately depends on your insurance status and on the referral. We will set this out clearly before treatment starts rather than after.

A physician referral (Verordnung) is generally required for statutory-funded physiotherapy. We will tell you what you need and help you obtain it, but we cannot issue it ourselves.

Getting here

Neuss sits immediately west of Düsseldorf in the Rhine-Ruhr region. Düsseldorf Airport is the nearest international airport, and the area is well connected by regional rail and motorway from across North Rhine-Westphalia and the neighbouring Netherlands and Belgium.

For most patients this is a local outpatient centre rather than a destination for travel, and appointments are scheduled accordingly.

What is available here and what is not

Upper limb robotics, outpatient physiotherapy, nutrition counselling and health coaching are provided here. Inpatient rehabilitation, robotic gait training and hydrotherapy are not.

Where your programme needs those, we will tell you which centre provides them and what a combined plan would look like — an intensive block at Romatem Move Germany in Grevenbroich or at a centre in Türkiye, followed by continuing outpatient work here, is a common and sensible pattern.
