Romatem Bursa is part of the Romatem network and delivers inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation in Bursa. The international office arranges admission, airport transfer and interpreting for patients coming from abroad.
What this centre is used for
A 50-bed rehabilitation hospital, open since 2014, for inpatient and outpatient neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation with robotic gait training and upper limb robotics. It serves the Marmara region and is a practical alternative to İstanbul for patients who want the same programme without a large city.
The hospital stands in Kükürtlü, Bursa's thermal district, and has its own spa and thermal pool infrastructure, so water-based work is part of the programme rather than an excursion from it. For long programmes, some patients and families specifically prefer this — the cost of accommodation and daily living is lower and the environment is quieter, which matters more over six weeks than over six days.
Getting here
Yenişehir Airport serves Bursa directly with limited scheduled traffic. In practice most international patients arrive at one of the İstanbul airports and travel on by road or by the ferry across the Sea of Marmara, which is often the faster route.
We advise on the best routing once we have your flight options, and transfer is arranged for international admissions.
Planning a stay
The same process as any of our centres: records reviewed before booking, a written assessment of what is achievable, and the programme and cost stated before you travel.
If we think İstanbul or another centre suits your case better — because of the technology you need or the medical support you may require — we will say so.
