Romatem opens its first clinic in Germany
Romatem Europe GmbH opened its Neuss clinic on 22 February 2025: physical therapy and rehabilitation for neurological, orthopaedic, geriatric and post-surgical patients, close to home for patients in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Romatem Health Group has opened Romatem Neuss Clinic, its first investment in Europe, in the city of Neuss in Germany. The clinic, which focuses on physical therapy and rehabilitation, was officially opened at a well-attended ceremony.
What the clinic offers
The clinic serves patients in Neuss and the surrounding area with neurological, orthopaedic, geriatric and post-surgical rehabilitation, pain treatment and preventive care. Alongside physical therapy it offers nutrition counselling, fitness programmes, health coaching and personal training. With a specialist team and a patient-centred approach, it is expected to be a practical advantage for Turkish and other patients in the region.
Movement at the centre of recovery
In a press statement, Romatem Europe GmbH said: “Life consists of movement. With this understanding, Romatem Europe GmbH opens its first health centre in Germany in Neuss on 22 February 2025. Already one of the leading providers of physiotherapy and rehabilitation in Türkiye, Romatem now brings its holistic health philosophy to Neuss.”
The clinic is led by Murat Polat, an experienced personal trainer, health coach and physiotherapist. It combines modern therapy approaches with medical technology and keeps movement at the centre of recovery.
A human-centred, holistic approach
Speaking to the newspaper, clinic manager Murat Polat said: “In our clinic, equipped with modern devices, we bring health centre services, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, personal training, health coaching, nutrition counselling and corporate fitness under one roof. Our strongest quality is the empathy we have for our patients. We see movement as the key to health. Modern medical technology is an excellent support for human health, but it cannot replace what really heals: movement, activity and the right care. Our aim is to encourage people to move and to put their health in their own hands, and to give them the best tools for that.”
Technology for spinal mobilisation
Polat added that alongside conventional therapy the clinic has invested in technology not yet widespread in Germany, in particular the Robospine system by MCbrothers, used for spinal mobilisation and back health. “With the support of our specialist team, we will work with everything we have so that every patient regains their health step by step,” he said.
Editor’s note: what Neuss changes for international patients
Deciding to spend four weeks in another country, with a family member, for a treatment you have only read about, on the basis of an online conversation. That is the actual barrier for many families: not price, not quality, not distance.
A patient in North Rhine-Westphalia can now attend a physical clinic, in their own language, be examined, and ask questions of someone they can see. The decision about travelling comes after that rather than before it.
Neuss is an outpatient clinic. Inpatient intensive rehabilitation happens at our centres in Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus. Neuss is where the assessment and the follow-up can happen close to home.
