Romatem Move Cyprus Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital has completed its formal agreement with the Social Security Institution of the Republic of Türkiye (SGK). Patients covered by Turkish SGK can now receive outpatient and inpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation at the hospital in Famagusta.

The hospital treats a broad range of cases: robotic rehabilitation, neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation, programmes after stroke, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, inpatient physical therapy, gait analysis and individually planned treatment.

In the hospital’s statement, the agreement is described as a step that makes treatment easier to reach for patients from Türkiye and brings its multidisciplinary services to a wider group. The stated aim is to combine technology, expertise and a patient-centred approach, and to strengthen the hospital’s position in physical therapy and rehabilitation in the region.

What this means for international patients

The agreement concerns patients insured in Türkiye. Patients from other countries continue to be treated as self-paying patients; how reimbursement documentation works for them is explained on the insurance and reimbursement page.

Four ways to reach the international office, depending on where you are. Nothing here commits you to treatment — a second opinion, a video consultation and a written plan are all free, and you can start with a question.
